What a beautiful and at the same time terrifying account and letter. Cuts right through me and adjusts my lens of perception. Why do I want pleasure and happiness and flee pain and discomfort? I know it’s natural, but … there’s no escaping it. Why resist and suffer? One answer is: because it’s really not that easy to STAY with it all.

Thank you for telling your story of conviction, commitment, resilience and unbreakable spirit. The path you’ve been walking so steadfastly speaks VOLUMES.

And the longer I stumble, slide or stride forward on my own path, the narrower it becomes … in the sense of: the only thing that’s REAL is true service to others, the path to discover our unity through service. Breathtaking and awe inspiring.

And, paradoxically, the more I commit to the narrowness of this path, the more free and unburdened I feel, the more limitless my life becomes.

Life is such a magical, unpredictable, wondrous, complex and mystifying experience. The only reasonable response to it seems to be - surrender, openness and presence to the fullness of each moment!

THANK YOU FOR MODELING THAT AGAIN AND AGAIN!!
